More about the workshop

Our workshops are friendly and informal, and partners are welcome to attend. All aspects of vulval health are openly discussed, including issues relating to the impact on intimate relationships. There will be some slides of a graphic nature.

The day will include time for questions and being able to share experiences with others. Mr David Nunns FRCOG and VPS Founder will start the day with a general introduction and go on to explain the details of the ISSVD Vulval Pain classifications. We anticipate that local doctors Miss Jay Scanlon MB ChB FRCOG, Specialist in Vulval Medicine, and Mr John Kirwan MRCOG, Clinical Director for Gynaecology, Gynaecological Surgeon and Oncologist, will also be participating. Other topics for the day are likely to include Mona Lisa Therapy, an overview of Lichen Planus and Lichen Sclerosus and new developments in treatments.

The Blair Bell Lecture Suite is to the right of the main reception desk. Registration and tea/coffee will be at 9.30 am, with talks starting at 10.00 am.
